The challenge
A confidential European family-tech client needed a wall-mounted kitchen touchscreen plus companion iOS and Android apps, built from one codebase and kept in production across releases.
What we did
Over 18 months we built multi-provider calendar sync (Google, Outlook, Apple CalDAV and school ICS feeds) unified into one family board, recurring tasks and routines with a kids' reward-points system, live shared lists, recipes and meal planning with realtime sync and offline resilience, and EU subscription billing with trial paywalls.
The result
Eighteen months on one product, shipped in four languages across five releases (1.10 → 1.14). Engagements only run that long when the client keeps trusting the same team with the work; this one did, release after release. The client is withheld under agreement.
