The challenge
We wanted a nutrition platform built Pakistan-first: personalized desi meal planning with real accountability, measured in roti and katori rather than grams, not another generic calorie counter.
What we did
We shipped nutrihygiene.com with free, account-free web tools: a calorie calculator on the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, a 7-day diet-plan generator for weight loss, gain or maintenance, and a growing Pakistani food database with portions in familiar units (roti, katori, plate) alongside grams, plus a public methodology page that sources every number and dates its corrections. The mobile app, in beta, adds ledger-based calorie accountability instead of simple daily counters and an AI nutrition assistant with retrieval over the structured food database, backed by an admin console with fine-grained role-based access.
The result
The website is live at nutrihygiene.com and the free tools work without an account or email; the mobile app is in beta with a public waitlist. It's our own bet, which is how we learn what we later build for clients: scoping with our own money changes how we scope with yours.
